Ah, Avatar. No, not James Cameron's Avatar. Avatar: the Last Airbender, a nick show that took the world by storm and had many, many fans.
The story about a boy trying to thwart an empire may seem simple, basic and even cliché, but thanks to creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the stories have never been as much fun, creative or just plain delightful as they could've been.
So, when we heard that a live-action version was going to be directed, we were a bit worried.
When we heard M. Night Shyamalan was directing it, we nearly rioted on the streets.
